In the cheat sheet below, the designer lists 20 of the most popular Google Fonts and show us which of them pair really well together, which of them pair “okay” together, and which you should avoid putting together. Love this document, especially if you use any of these fonts regularly.
5) So You Need a Typeface
An alternative way on how to choose a typeface or font for a specific project. The list is “loosely” based on the top 50 fonts from FontShop. While it seems a little daunting to look at, once you figure how to navigate the infographic it becomes a fairly useful tool.
6) Type Guide
Created by someone who only calls themselves Noodlor. It does a pretty superb job laying out the basics of typography, such as the common types of faces, ranging from regular to condensed, and the anatomy of letter forms.
7) Anatomy of Typography (Recommended Highly by Somebody)
The ultimate guide to the anatomy of type. All the basic anatomy of typography is included and this is one impressive document.
